Reasons of not losing weight.

Trying your best and still unable to lose those extra pounds? Ever wonder what am I doing wrong? Well, there could be a number of reasons that can prevent or slow down the process of weight loss for you. Here are a few points that you need to remember when you are trying to lose weight:

Eating too ess or too much: Yes, the first and the most obvious one is that you are either too much    or not eating too less. Now, how can I over eat while I am on diet? I certainly can, by taking too much of nuts, also, we are often misguided by all the ‘diet’ stuff. Remember to avoid them as much as you can. Now the next question is how can eating less leads to weight gain, it certainly does as it slows your metabolism. Also, eating too little may also lead to craving un-necessary cravings and undisciplined diet.

Not enough exercise: If you are planning to lose weight without enough exercising then you are certainly doing it very wrong. Remember weight loss is not about starving yourself but maintaining a healthy life style.

Either sleeping too much or not getting enough sleep: Yes, both of these reasons are the most important weight gaining factors. An average person needs around 6-8 hours of sleep. Anything less or more disturbs your metabolism leading to weight gain.

You are under stress: Stress can often lead to weight gain. Stress eating is one of the major factors for weight gain. People when subjected to stress are often attracted to chocolates and other fattening desserts. Remember not to fall prey to emotional eating.

Portion Size: You are too much focused on the kind of food you are eating that you tend to avoid portion size. Taking appropriate portion size is very important. You are eating non-fattening healthy food but not maintaining portion size then you are doing it wrong.
